Photography is a very important part of our lives. Every moment that we have, we would like to keep and look back and laugh or reminisce. This is not any different in tourism and travel. We always find pictures of lovely cities, national parks, towns, villages, animals, roads on post cards, websites and wall hangings, name it. This is because photography is a very powerful tool for evidence, entertainment, communication and clarity on various issues.
It can also be fun; for example take a photography tour to one of your favorite destinations in Uganda and Rwanda and then put the pictures up on your wall in your room. You can also put them up as unique pictures in a photo gallery or even make your own wall hangings and post cards of lovely shots you have taken on your trip.
Unlike any other visual image, a photograph is not a rendering, an imitation or an interpretation of its subject, but actually a trace of it. No painting or drawing, however naturalist, belongs to its subject in the way that a photograph does.
